Nesta fase, iniciou sua luta em defesa dos direitos e da dignidade da classe trabalhadora. E que foram dados passos importantes em sua caminhada constatadas ao longo dos anos. &#8211; Presidente Fundador da Unifica\u00e7\u00e3o do Sindicato dos Metal\u00fargicos de S\u00e3o Bernardo do Campo e Diadema, tornando-se o atual Sindicato dos Metal\u00fargicos do ABC e, tamb\u00e9m cumpriu sua miss\u00e3o como Presidente Nacional da CUT (Central \u00danica dos Trabalhadores).
