Marcante em seu primeiro discurso ao parlamento,\u00a0<strong>Zewde<\/strong>\u00a0compromete-se a manter-se uma voz ativa para as mulheres e a proporcionar esfor\u00e7os para acelerar o desenvolvimento econ\u00f4mico de seu pa\u00eds.<\/p><p>Zewede atuou como embaixadora, subsecret\u00e1ria-geral da ONU, e assessora na Uni\u00e3o Africana. Sahle-Work, como embaixadora, atuou em Fran\u00e7a, Djibuti, Senegal, e no bloco regional, a Autoridade Intergovernamental para o Desenvolvimento (IGAD).<\/p><p>&#8220;Enquanto n\u00e3o houver paz no pa\u00eds, as m\u00e3es v\u00e3o se sentir frustradas. Por isso, precisamos trabalhar pela paz para nossas m\u00e3es&#8221;, disse Sahle-Work ao Parlamento ap\u00f3s sua nomea\u00e7\u00e3o como Presidente.<\/p><p>Ao terminar o curso em Ci\u00eancias Naturais na Universidade de Montpellier, Sahle-Work Zewde regressa \u00e0 Eti\u00f3pia e come\u00e7a a exercer fun\u00e7\u00f5es como diretora de rela\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00fablicas do Minist\u00e9rio da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o da Eti\u00f3pia.<\/p><p>\u201cEu sou produto de pessoas que lutaram pela igualdade e liberdade pol\u00edtica neste pa\u00eds, e vou trabalhar arduamente para os servir\u201d, disse perante o parlamento\u201d<\/p><p>A luta pelo direito das mulheres \u00e9 um dos principais eixos de governabilidade para Sahle-Work Zewde. \u201cA falta de paz vitimiza primeiro as mulheres.\u00a0<strong>Por isso, durante o meu mandato, vou enfatizar o papel das mulheres na garantia da paz e nos dividendos da paz para as mulheres<\/strong>\u201d, disse no parlamento.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">Fontes: <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 15px; Em seu hist\u00f3rico se encontra a participa\u00e7\u00e3o em tr\u00eas gest\u00f5es governamentais na <strong>Nig\u00e9ria. <\/strong><\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>Amina Mohammed atuou como Ministra do Meio Ambiente da Rep\u00fablica Federal da Nig\u00e9ria, onde dirigiu os esfor\u00e7os do pa\u00eds em a\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas e esfor\u00e7os para proteger o meio ambiente.<\/p><p>Ap\u00f3s, ingressou na Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas em 2012 como Consultora Especial do ex-Secret\u00e1rio-Geral Ban Ki-moon com a responsabilidade pelo planejamento de desenvolvimento p\u00f3s-2015.\u00a0Ela liderou o processo que resultou em um acordo global em torno da Agenda 2030 para o Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel e a cria\u00e7\u00e3o dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Em in\u00edcio de carreira trabalha no design de escolas e cl\u00ednicas na Nig\u00e9ria.\u00a0Ela atuou como defensora com foco no aumento do acesso \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o e outros servi\u00e7os sociais, antes de passar para o setor p\u00fablico, onde chegou ao cargo de conselheira de tr\u00eas presidentes sucessivos sobre pobreza, reforma do setor p\u00fablico e desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel.<\/p><p>A Sra. Mohammed recebeu v\u00e1rios doutorados honor\u00e1rios e atuou como professora adjunta, dando palestras sobre desenvolvimento internacional.\u00a0Recebedora de v\u00e1rios pr\u00eamios globais, a Sra.
